Children’s Day 2018
Saturday June 2nd, 2018
On the 2nd of June we have celebrated family Children’s Day at our School. Thanks to a generous help of the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Sydney, we have organised a lot of exciting attractions, including: fairy floss, jumping castle, animals farm and pony rides.
Parents and carers of our children have helped with face painting, sausage sizzle and home baked cakes. Our teachers were responsible for setting up and supervising sports activities and quiet zone with colouring and board games stations. Every child has received a “passport” where they could collect stickers for taking part in the activities and exchange it for small gadgets at the end of the day. Children were mostly interested in animal farm, jumping castle and pony rides.
Our Children’s Day was very popular amongst polish families from our School but also outside of it. Children and parents had spent an exciting time playing, getting to know each other and making friends, some families were also interested in joining our School. Thanks to the generosity of the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Sydney we have had an amazing day full of activities and everybody was interested in taking part in the same event next year.
